Features

• Miniaturized - analytical setup flexibility & low biomaterial costs
• Test eight samples per chip
• Compatible with several adhesive cell types & surface coating matrix
• Adjustable, automated mechanical stimulation in vitro
• Create circular reproducible cell-free areas
• Perform repeatable wounding of the same area without damaging the surface coating
• Reduction of injured cells along the edge of the cell-free area
• Removal of cell debris during perfusion
• Fit for sensor integration
• "Ready-to-start" system
As a lab-on-chip device, the CompreChip employs controlled pneumatic actuation of a flexible membrane to mechanically stimulate or wound tissues grown in the device's microchannels. Whether you want to study cell migration or study the effects of compressive stress on cell fate and morphology, this device can help you in your mission. Having the dimensions of a microscope slide, it is compatible with any image analysis system and can be used with several adherent cell types, thus facilitating a wide range of studies from cutaneous wound closure, to brain trauma, cancer cell studies, etc.
