Most conventional models are useful for early screening, but they rarely reflect the full biological context of the people products are made for. Reconstructed skin, spheroids, and ex vivo tissue can be limited by short testing windows, simplified architecture, donor stress, or synthetic/animal-based scaffolds and matrices.

Our age- and sex-stratified human skin models, from targeted cell assays to complex living tissue systems, are built without synthetic scaffolds, hydrogel matrices, or unnecessary additives. Designed for extended culture longevity, they generate consumer-relevant data on safety, tolerance, photoprotection, regeneration-associated responses, tissue vitality, and long-term product performance — helping you see what standard tests often miss.

As the name “Avatar” indicates, this technology aims to mimic the uniqueness of the diverse consumers' skin. A 3D model built without any hydrogels or scaffolds, growing and living inside a proprietary organ-on-chip platform for up to 180 days.
